Welcome to Hidaya Academy of Champaign-Urbana. The name "Hidaya, هداية” meaning guidance in Arabic, reflects our commitment to providing a holistic education that incorporates Islamic teachings and values, and emphasizes the importance of Allah's guidance through Islam.

We are an innovative private Islamic school designed to cater to the needs of the community. Our mission is to provide a nurturing environment that produces compassionate and creative leaders with a strong Muslim Identity, founded on Islamic ethics, community service and strong citizenship by focusing on the education of the whole child.

At Hidaya Academy, we believe that every student deserves a quality education that encompasses Islamic teachings and prepares them for success in life. Our qualified and experienced teachers are committed to helping students achieve academic excellence while instilling the values of Islam in their hearts and minds. We offer a comprehensive curriculum that includes Islamic studies, Quran, Arabic, Math, Science, English, and many more subjects.

We understand that many parents have struggled to provide their children with a holistic Islamic education, often resorting to homeschooling or multiple after-school activities. At Hidaya Academy, we provide a unique opportunity for students to expand their knowledge of Islamic and standard educational topics among peers who share their goals and values.

As a drop-off elementary school, we will serve students from preschool through 5th grade. We plan to expand to grades 6th through 8th in the next few years, Inshallah. We will be renting space at (2011 Brownfield Rd) from the MAS community center to maintain low overhead costs. We are proud to have support from all entities in the community, including MAS of Urbana- Champaign and CIMIC, the local mosque, as well as the community in Champaign-Urbana.
