The 2025-2026 application process will open January 1st 2026.

Hidaya Academy admits students of any race, gender, or religion to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to its students. The academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, or religion in administration of its educational policies and programs. Unfortunately, Hidaya Academy does not have the resources for specialized need instruction. As a result, we can only admit students whose needs can be met with the available resources.

Students must completed all necessary requirements as dictated by the determined by the Illinois State Board of Education and the Illinois Department of Public Health. All required physical and immunization forms are due on the first day of school. Students who do not meet physical exam and immunization requirements are subject to exclusion from school. Exclusion will not occur without prior notice.

The health requirements are as follows:

• Kindergarten through 5th grade vaccinations:  DTP: 4 doses IPV: 4 doses MMR: 2 doses Varicella: 2 doses, or proof of having had the chickenpox, or laboratory evidence
• Kindergarten: Illinois Physical Examination, Illinois Vision Examination, Illinois Dental Examination, Immunizations up to date
• Second Grade: Illinois Dental Examination
• 6th Grade: 1st dose of Meningitis Vaccine,  Tdap Vaccine Shot 

• Kindergartners must be 5 years old by September 1st. 
• Pre-Kindergartens must be 4 by September 30th

• Register for through School Cues portal and complete necessary forms- due March 15th, 2025
• $50 Application fee, non refundable due March 15th, 2025
• Previous report cards and MAP testing scores, if available- due March 15th, 2025
• Letter of recommendation completed by your child's current teacher. Only required for students entering first through sixth grade- due March 15th, 2025. 
• IEP/ 504 Plan, if applicable- due March 15th, 2024, please note that Hidaya Academy is unable to provide any specialized need instruction

All new incoming students will complete an academic assessment and a classroom visit to ensure that they are a good fit for Hidaya Academy.  These assessments must be completed by March 15th, 2025

• Academic Assessments:  First through fifth grade students will need to submit copies of current report cards, a completed letter of recommendation, and recent MAP test results. Based on these submissions, students may need to complete additional academic assessments. These assessments will ensure that your child is at the appropriate grade level to seamlessly integrate into the Hidaya classroom. 
• Classroom Visit: Hidaya Academy will schedule a classroom visit for your child. This will allow your child to experience a typical day at Hidaya Academy.  

• Financial aid is limited . If you are interested in applying for financial aid please complete the FAST Application.

• FAST Application- due March 15th, 2024

• Hidaya Academy Applications and FAST Applications OPEN January 1st, 2025
• Hidaya Academy Applications and FAST Applications CLOSE  March 15th, 2025
• Families notified of acceptances and financial aid awards on May 9th, 2025
• $100 non-refundable deposit due to hold your child's spot on May 23th, 2025
• Sign enrollment contract and financial award letters by May 23rd, 2025
• Complete remaining additional forms by July 31st, 2025 (see below)

Health forms are required as listed above. These forms must be uploaded to the School Cues account no later that July 31st, 2025.

• Asthma Action if applicable
• Food Allergy Emergency Action Plan if Applicable
• Copy of the student's birth certificate
• Proof of school completion (for elementary/middle school students)
• State or Federal Government Issued Picture ID
• Billing statement with home address
